Role Overview:
We search Automation QA/General QA to Platform team. This team is mostly working on Back End stuff (optimisation of all infrastructure, creating endpoints, etc.). The main responsibility of QA on this role will be, to work on manual testing of BE stuff implemented by developers from Platform team and creating -> developing -> managing -> updating -> supporting Automation environment for all teams in our group. Our group consists of 4 teams: Platform, Business, Publishing and Growth. The ideal expectation for the candidate is to work 30% on manual stuff and 70% on Automation
What will your day to day look like:
1st month is working with manual testing, so candidate could get acquainted with platform and how it is going here. After, we expect the QA to start working and developing automation environment, in parallel working as manual QA for Platform team (manual load should not be high), having the help from my side, if manual work starts to take a lot of time. So, main direction is working on automation for our group. Set up the environment, or re-use existed one, manage it and support it
Your areas of expertise most relevant to this role:
- 2+ years in Automation testing
- 2+ years in manual testing
- Good knowledge of BE testing (Mongo DB, API testing, Client/Server architecture, Monolith/Microservices)
- Experience creating automation environment from scratch (Nice to have)
- Experience in helping manual QA to become Automation QA (Nice to have)
- Automation with TypeScript/Playwright (Preferably)
- Setting automation processes (Nice to have)
