We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Bookkeeper to join our finance team in TLV to operate the Bookkeeping in the US. You will work closely with the company's finance and management teams in this role. The Ideal candidate is a hardworking individual has excellent attention to detail and a positive working attitude

Responsibilities: 

Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. 

Manage bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Responsible for Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, AR aging, and collections. 

Responsible for Account Payable – processing new vendors, recording invoices, and preparing payments. 

Prepare the trial balance and supporting documentation for the monthly closing process. 

Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner. Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments according to company policies and laws and ensure the proper distribution of paychecks or direct deposits. 

Maintain payroll records meticulously to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. 

Prepare and file payroll tax returns promptly, reconcile payroll accounts, respond to employee inquiries, stay updated on regulatory changes. Manage accruals and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis. 

Manage intercompany entries and reconciliations. 

Review and process expense reimbursements and travel reports. 

Perform other finance ad-hoc tasks as required. 

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a bookkeeper in a High Tech company, with a focus on US accounting standards. 

Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing, in a US-based company. Proficiency in payroll software - Trinet. 

Strong understanding of US payroll laws, regulations, and tax codes. 

Familiarity with annual IRS filings such as 1099, etc. 

Experience with ERP systems – (NetSuite - Must). 

Knowledge of US Taxation is preferred. 

Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, deadline-driven environment. 

Very high attention to detail. 

Analytical thinker (ability to understand and analyze and problem solve for any discrepancies). 

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Curious, service-oriented, and friendly approach with internal and external stakeholders. 

Accounting experience in Canada is an advantage.
