Description
Riverside is on its way to becoming the go-to platform for content creation. Disney, Marvel, Mark Zuckerberg, Gary Vee, and Apple all use Riverside to create their video and audio content. We have a great and widely-used product in a fascinating industry. Our engineering group manages real-time communications through all media including text, voice, and video. As a Senior WebRTC engineer, you will architect and implement essential parts of our voice and video creation and hosting infrastructure to facilitate meaningful interactions for our users around the world.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with compiled languages such as Node, javascript, Java, C++, or others
- Knowledge of WebRTC technologies (TURN, STUN, ICE, and audio/video codecs)
- Experience with many-to-many real-time low-latency media conferencing topologies and components such as SFUs.
- 2+ years of experience building and operating voice and video infrastructure at scale on AWS, gcloud, Azure or others.
- Experience with network protocols (HTTP, TCP/UDP, Websockets)
- Experience with media protocols such as RTMP, HLS, DASH
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or related engineering field with at least 5 years of hands-on experience
